everything becoming spare, whitening: almost invisible, then one flash of red
our
postcards are size A2 (4.5"x5.5", or about 13cm x 17cm).
we print
on Crane Lettra, which is a thick, cotton paper
designed to receive a deep imprint
from lead type, polymer
plates, and zinc and magnesium blocks used in letterpress
printing.
we
print 100 postcards of one design each month,
incorporating text and images that we design,
commission, or choose via our submission process.
subscriptions:
the first 25 postcards are reserved for edition subscribers.
subscribers receive 16 cards each year: one per month, plus four seasonal cards
only available to subscribers, which are printed + mailed in October, January,
April, and July. subscribers also receive a printed linen envelope to hold their cards.
our
year begins August 1. when you subscribe, you'll receive
a packet of the cards
from the months you've missed,
then one card a month (except the four months
when you'll
receive two) until the following August.
